    The opportunity for you

    We’re looking to recruit an experienced Creative, who can apply the skills they have honed over the years to provide How Now with solid ideas and beautifully crafted edits. The candidate will write, edit, and steer through post - promos, commercials, sizzle reels, pre-rolls, and other types of video content.

    Responsibilities and duties

    The Role

    • Creative idea writing
    • Editing
    • Post production direction
    • Creative concept strategy thinking
    • Creative concept visualising and pitching

    The skills you will need

    • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro
    • Knowledge of digital video file formats and specs
    • Experience of working with online and broadcast video formats
    • A (lite) technical understanding of video and audio

    The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude who is client focused and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to finishing projects to deadlines. The successful applicant will have the ability to cope well under pressure while working in a fast paced environment. In addition to this, the applicant will demonstrate a good attention to detail and have the aptitude and determination to gain new skills and apply them quickly.

    We’re looking to recruit an experienced Technical Assistant, who can apply the skills they have honed over the years to provide How Now with solid technical support in all aspects of content creation. Specifically responsible for; versioning, video file management, standards and frame rate conversion, encoding of files to client specifications and finalising localised AV content for International broadcast distribution. Other duties will include editing and providing general support to the creative and production departments.

    Responsibilities and duties

    The Role

    • Digitising, capturing, wrangling footage from various sources
    • Encoding and transcoding of files to various formats
    • Localisation and re-versioning of content 
    • Finalising content for international/national distribution for broadcast
    • Video Editing
    • Systems and workflow organisation
    • Quality Control

    The skills you will need

    • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects (ideally)
    • Superb attention to detail
    • Knowledge of digital video file format encoding software
    • Editing experience
    • Experience of working with online and broadcast video formats
    • A technical understanding of video and audio signals, and broadcast standards

Knowledge of C4D or other 3D software ideally, able to deliver different design styles, keeping pace with latest design trends and technology developments.
